My mom and my mother-in-law are both nearing the end of their time on earth. Each moment is so precious, even if she doesn't totally get it, anymore. Yesterday my mom acted like we were really having a conversation. She'd stutter and mumble and I would do my best to interpret and reply. It was so warming to have any kind of "conversation" at all. I will miss her.
We live in a 200 year old house on what used to be a 150 acre apple farm. We have 6 acres and the rest of the land is still orchard, owned and farmed by others. We have 1 miniature horse, 4 pygmy goats, 12 hens, a rooster and a wee pig. I love my family and home, which is where I like to be. My Honey and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary in December 2010. We have two beautiful children that make me so very proud. I have great faith in God and love the Lord with all my heart.
